Virat Kohli was seen grooving to the chartbuster track “Oo Antava” from Pushpa at a party organized by Royal Challengers Bangalore for the newly married Glenn Maxwell and Vini Ramani. Maxwell married his long-time partner Vini Raman a few weeks ago in Chennai.
Faf du Plessis, Sherfane Rutherford, Dinesh Karthik, and Wanindu Hasarang too graced the occasion in the traditional attire.
In a video that has now gone viral, Kohli is seen shaking his legs with Shahbaz Ahmed, while Finn Allen and Anuj Rawat are seen giggling in the background.
Devi Sri Prasad, the music director of the song, was thrilled to see the former Indian captain grooving to his song. He said: It’s a brilliant feeling for any musician to watch the greats of the country enjoy their music. It made me happy to watch Virat grooving to ‘Oo Antava’.”
Kohli attended the event with his wife Anushka Sharma, who also posted a picture from the event on Instagram.
“Wedding function in a bubble! Now I think I’ve seen and celebrated possibly every function and festival in a bubble,” captioned Anushka on her Instagram.

Sharing a bunch of photos from the event, RCB wrote: “Wedding vibes at the RCB camp last evening as we got together to celebrate #MaxiVins with a nice touch of Indian tradition.”
With five wins and four defeats, RCB are placed fifth in the points table. They will now play the table-toppers Gujarat Titans, on 30 April. Kohli’s form remains a matter of concern for them, as they have struggled to get breezy starts in the Powerplay.
Bangalore must win at least three out of the last five games to ensure their place in the play-offs.
