In a bombshell interview with Piers Morgan, Cristiano Ronaldo went all out to slam everyone in the club — from the current manager Erik ten Hag to club legend Wayne Rooney. The clip from the interview is going viral on the internet, eliciting amusing reactions from Manchester United fans. All of them seem to be united in their response, wanting the club to get rid of Ronaldo at the earliest.
Ronaldo averred that he felt “betrayed” by the club, as they wanted to dump him before the season began. “Yes, not only the coach but another two or three guys around the club. I felt betrayed. Yes I felt betrayed and I felt like some people don’t want me here, not only this year but last year too,” said Ronaldo.

Ronaldo was obviously a misfit in Erik Ten Hag’s system, and if reports are to be believed, he himself wanted to force a move out from Manchester, particularly to a club that had secured the European qualification. He also slammed Ten Hag, stating that he doesn’t have any respect for the Dutch manager.
“I feel betrayed.”

“I don’t have respect for him because he doesn’t show respect for me. If you don’t have respect for me, I’m never gonna have respect for you,” he said.
Erik ten Hag previously suspended Ronaldo after he refused to appear as a substitute in Manchester United’s 2-0 win over Tottenham, and walked off the pitch before the final whistle. He has also been demoted to a second-choice striker, as his presence hampers the overall efficiency of the team.
He took a dig at his predecessor Ralf Ragnick, who was appointed as a caretaker manager following the sacking of Ole Gunner Solskjaer. Ronaldo further maintained that he had “never heard of” him. “This guy is not even a coach. A bigger club like Manchester United brings (a) sports director – surprised not only me but all the world, you know,” he added.
My biggest gripe with this is that you’re bloody Cristiano Ronaldo, the be-all end-all role model to every other kid dreaming about football.
With great power comes great responsibility. You cannot act like a spoiled man-child every time you need attention.
Unacceptable.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner also noted how United has reached a period of prolonged stagnancy ever since Sir Alex Ferguson quit his job in 2013. “The progress was zero. Since Sir Alex left, I saw no evolution in the club. Nothing had changed. He [Ferguson] knows better than anybody that the club is not on the path they deserve to be.”

Ronaldo “I don’t respect the manager”
Ronaldo under ETH: Announced he wanted to leave, refused to come on as a substitute, walked off the bench & left before the game had finished.
99% of United fans will be on the side of ETH, which shows how badly Ronaldo has handled this.

What’s more, even his ex-colleague Wayne Rooney wasn’t spared in the interview. “I don’t know why he [Rooney] criticizes me so badly . . . probably because he finished his career and I’m still playing at a high level,” said Ronaldo.
FYI, Wayne Rooney became United’s highest goalscorer ever after scoring a great free-kick v Stoke City but never celebrated that goal because United had only equalised.
