Last week, Latest in Beauty held a very exciting Christmas shopping experience in collaboration with one of our favourite French beauty brands, Caudalie.
Held at the brand’s quaint boutique in Covent Garden, the night saw our subscribers and Caudalie fans come together under one roof for a night of beauty chats, wine (the posh French kind, naturally…) nibbles, mini treatments, and of course, lots of discounted shopping. Everyone was getting into the Christmas spirit, including Caudalie staff members, who stylishly pulled out all the stops with their Christmas attire.
Among many of the brand’s cult classics was the amazing Caudalie Christmas range (packaging goals may we add), making Christmas shopping for skincare addicts a breeze! While indulging with many glasses of wine, customers enjoyed mini Caudalie facials and hand massages, giving great insight into the relaxing treatments Caudalie offers in its spa, conveniently located on the lower level of the store.
If you missed out on this experience, don’t worry, there’ll be plenty more to get involved in throughout 2018.
About Caudalie
Caudalie was born in 1993 when Mathilde and Bertrand Thomas had a chance encounter with Dr. Vercauteren, professor at the University of Pharmacy, Bordeaux and the world’s leading expert on grape and grapevine polyphenols. On the vineyards of the Château Smith Haut Lafitte in Bordeaux, the professor noticed the leftover skins and seeds of the grapes from the harvest and explained to the couple that the polyphenols in the grape and grapevines had extraordinary anti-oxidant power. It was then that Caudalie was created. Two years later, Caudalie launched their first three products in European pharmacies and established in 1995 an exclusive worldwide patent for extracting and stabilising Grape-seed Polyphenols (OPC). These powerful anti-oxidants offer an anti-ageing shield for skin, halting free radical damage, the main cause of cutaneous ageing.
