LiB Team’s Style picks!

Style-Hero-Products

In celebration of our VERY exciting collaboration with The Sunday Times Style Beauty Awards, we thought it was only right to share with you some of team LiB’s favourite product picks from the selection (that’s over 60 shortlisted products if you were wondering). Although, it has to be said, it was a tricky one, simply because we love every single brand that is involved.

Need some inspiration for what to pick? Here’s what we’d suggest…

I got fed up of going to the salon and getting my eyebrows tinted so when I discovered the Maybelline Brow Tattoo, my eyebrow game changed! It’s really easy to use and peels off without any trouble.” – Sasha, Business Development Manager

What I like about the SUQQU Framing Eyebrow Liquid Pen is it allows me to fill in my brows with hair-like strokes, creating naturally defined brows that frame my (very chubby) face. The unique brush tip applies sheer colour that can be built up to the desired finish. This Grey shade may sound scary but it’s perfect for my ashy brown brows” – Jem, Editor & Social Media Manager

As an avid fan of anything that involves acids or Hyaluronic Acid, this Dr Dennis Gross Marine Moisture Cushion is one of my ultimate hero products! It has a light texture, yet it is extremely hydrating and sinks into the skin so quickly. It has a small amount of Glycolic and Lactic which are great for people who to tend to break out (me!)” – Christina, Sales Director

I like to see instant, visible results when I use hair treatments as I have fine, colour damaged hair – Phillip Kingsley, Elasticizer is always my go to when my locks need a bit of TLC. I smooth through the lengths and leave for an hour (or more if I have time), it leaves my hair feeling thick and full of body as if it has been freshly cut. It’s an absolute must-have for anyone with colour treated hair.” – Harri, Brand Campaign Manager

I just got back from Japan and my obsession with all things Japanese continues: I’m loving the pollution-clearing face mask from The Body Shop made with matcha green tea – it’s 100% vegan and leaves skin feeling clean and refreshed, which is just what my skin needs after a busy day in London!” – Emma, Marketing Director

ELEMIS is my go-to for skincare, I love the brand. The Cleansing Balm helps me achieve a deep cleanse every day, removing make-up and daily grime (sounds disgusting but true, one downside to living in London!). It smells lovely and leaves my skin feeling soft, clean and nourished. The whole Pro-Collagen range is packed full of nutrients, marine and plant actives, and is well worth a try!” – Charlotte, Commercial and Partnerships Director

I have been really loving the Real Techniques brush because not only is it an amazing product but it is a seriously great brand. You can always trust a RT brush to be the best and it doesn’t break the bank! I remember getting my first set as a young teen – and even though I washed them all the time they lasted for years!” – Ciara, Graphic Designer

I love love using the Living Proof Volume Blast… whenever I’m having a flat hair day, which is basically every day, it’s such a quick fix – a must have handbag essential for me!!” – Jess, Account Manager

I struggle to find nude nail polishes that suit my skin tone, but this Essie’s Ballet Slipper is a winner! I am so pleased to have come across this pretty pinkish white shade. It does require a few coats (I needed three) but it appears to dry fairly quickly! The finish is really soft and delicate once complete with a top coat – perfect for an every day look.” – Shivona, Customer Service Manager
